Parliament passes controversial new laws

In his State of the Nation speech, Viktor Orbán addressed threats from opposition leader Péter Magyar, who proposed wealth investigations for politicians. The Parliament also passed a new drug law tightening regulations and allowing for police detentions. Additionally, a bill was passed to prohibit selling energy drinks to minors, aiming to protect youth from health risks associated with excessive consumption.
