Romania is facing severe drought due to a recent temperature spike, particularly affecting the village of Teascu din Deal in Dolj county. Residents struggle to find water, often walking long distances to dwindling springs. Local officials acknowledge the crisis but have limited solutions. The situation is dire, with comparisons made to the Sahara Desert, as many families resort to collecting rainwater and buying water for basic needs.
