Poland's agriculture ministry has expressed concerns about the Mercosur trade agreement, fearing it could harm the country's agricultural sector, especially poultry. While the deal may benefit industrial sectors, the ministry warns that poultry imports could negatively impact Polish farmers. The agreement aims to create a free trade zone between the EU and Mercosur countries, allowing for significant poultry imports. France has opposed the deal, and environmentalists are pushing for high standards to be included.
