Prague will ban electric scooters starting next year, following a decision by city councillors to overhaul shared transport rules. The ban aims to reduce chaos caused by scooters in pedestrian areas, as they were often used more as tourist attractions. Other European cities like Paris and Madrid have also imposed strict regulations on e-scooters. Lime, a company providing e-scooters, argues that with proper dialogue, scooters can benefit citizens.
