Russian President Vladimir Putin expressed willingness to meet Ukraine's leader Volodymyr Zelenskyy only during a 'final stage' of negotiations. He mentioned that Russian and Ukrainian negotiators plan to hold another round of discussions after June 22. Previous talks have failed to resolve the ongoing conflict, which has now lasted four years. Putin reiterated his claim that Zelenskyy is not the legitimate president of Ukraine, a statement rejected by Kyiv. Meanwhile, Russia conducted missile strikes on Ukrainian regions, resulting in significant casualties, including a deadly attack on a Kyiv apartment building.
