Residents of Oleshky, a city under Russian occupation since 2022, are resorting to eating garden weeds due to severe food and water shortages. The situation has worsened following the collapse of the Nova Kakhovka Dam, leading to a humanitarian crisis with many civilians suffering from malnutrition and lack of medical services. Despite international calls for aid, the local population remains trapped under a blockade, with reports of civilian casualties continuing to rise.
