Serbia's anti-corruption protests, now in their ninth month, are evolving in leadership and tactics. After a significant protest in Belgrade, student leaders stepped back, calling for civil disobedience against President Vucic's government. Roadblocks have emerged across cities, leading to arrests and complaints of police violence. The protests began after a tragic railway station disaster, demanding accountability. Despite some political changes, the protests have yet to yield significant results, with Vucic's party remaining popular. The situation is tense, with calls for change amidst a hot summer.
