Robert Fico, the Slovak Prime Minister, announced that the Slovak government will discuss response measures next week regarding the suspension of gas transit from Ukraine. He emphasized the need to restart transit or find ways to compensate for the nearly 500 million euro loss. A government delegation will meet in Brussels, and the coalition will convene in Bratislava to discuss possible responses, including limiting support for Ukrainian citizens in Slovakia and halting electricity exports to Ukraine.
