Adriana Pascu, a 16-year-old Roma chess player from Satu Mare, Romania, has enhanced her analytical and concentration skills through chess, thanks to the 'Chess for Change' project by the Stea association. This initiative aims to combat early school leaving and has led to significant improvements in the children's academic performance and social skills. Adriana and her peers have participated in competitions and gained recognition. The project, funded by the EU, has transformed the children's outlook on education and their futures.
