European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen expressed solidarity with Romania following a maritime drone explosion in Constanța, attributing the incident to Russia's ongoing war against Ukraine. The drone, which was not part of Romania's military, self-detonated without causing injuries. EU leaders condemned the violation of airspace and emphasized the need for increased security measures in response to the escalating threats from Russia.
