Rosita Missoni, co-founder of the Missoni knitwear label, has died at 93. Her death was confirmed by Attilio Fontana, who called it a significant loss for Italy. Rosita founded the brand with her husband Ottavio in 1953, known for its zig-zag motif. They gained fame with a department store order in 1958 and a controversial catwalk show in 1966.
