Russia launched a significant attack on Ukraine using its Oreshnik intermediate-range ballistic missile, targeting critical infrastructure in Lviv. The attack resulted in casualties in Kyiv, where a double-tap strike killed four and injured 19, including a paramedic. The Kremlin claimed the attack was a response to an alleged Ukrainian attempt to strike President Putin's residence, which has been denied by Ukraine and the US. The assault involved 36 missiles and 242 drones, causing damage and disruption in various districts.
