The campaign, linked to Russia's Storm-1516 operation, used fake media outlets and AI-generated content to spread misinformation. Despite mentions of Macron in the Epstein files, there is no evidence of wrongdoing or direct communication between him and Epstein. The disinformation was amplified by pro-Russian accounts on social media.
