Russia's FSB has arrested several suspects linked to an alleged Ukrainian plot to assassinate senior military officials, following the killing of Lieutenant General Igor Kirillov. The suspects were reportedly planning to use a car bomb and an explosive device in an envelope. Kirillov was killed by a bomb on December 17, and his assistant also died in the attack, which Ukraine claimed responsibility for. President Putin criticized the security agencies for their failure.
