Ryanair's report highlights how online travel agencies (OTAs) like eDreams, Tix, and Vola inflate flight prices, with markups reaching up to 176%. Ryanair urges EU governments to protect consumers from these overcharges, particularly in Spain, where no action has been taken. A 2023 analysis shows that booking through OTAs can cost more than booking directly with airlines. Consumers are advised to check total fares, including add-ons, before purchasing.
