Piers Litherland and his team may have discovered the second tomb of King Thutmose II in the Theban Necropolis near Luxor, Egypt, shortly after finding the first tomb. The second tomb is believed to contain the pharaoh's mummified remains and grave goods, located beneath a man-made pile of rubble. The first tomb discovery was groundbreaking, marking a significant find since Tutankhamun's tomb. Litherland's team is working carefully to uncover the second tomb, which has been hidden for 3,500 years.
