The Association for Consumer Protection, Efektiva, has called for a boycott of five major retail chains in Serbia due to excessive pricing. The boycott, inspired by a similar initiative in Croatia, targets Delhaize, Mercator, Univerexport, DIS, and Lidl. Experts suggest that the success of the boycott depends on various factors, including consumer participation and government intervention to lower prices.
