A car drove into a trade union demonstration in Munich, injuring at least 36 people, including a child. The 24-year-old suspect, an Afghanistan national, confessed to the attack, which is believed to have a religious motivation. Authorities are investigating the incident as a potential act of terrorism. Politicians and union members paid tribute to the victims, expressing shock and concern for their recovery. The suspect, who arrived in Germany as an asylum seeker, had his application rejected but remained due to security issues in Afghanistan. The incident has prompted calls for stricter immigration policies.
