Underwater archaeologists have uncovered a medieval shipwreck in Lake Constance, dating between AD 1420 and 1450, much older than initially expected. The discovery was prompted by a local diver's tip-off, leading to the identification of wooden remains as part of a ship's structure. While the wreck offers valuable insights into historical shipbuilding, plans to salvage it are currently deemed too costly and unnecessary.
