Slovakia's Prime Minister Robert Fico has accused opposition forces of planning a 'Maidan'-style coup, coinciding with a no-confidence vote in his government. The opposition claims Fico is abusing intelligence services to suppress dissent. Fico's assertions follow a classified report and coincide with a visit from Hungary's Prime Minister Viktor Orban. The opposition has expressed skepticism about the SIS's impartiality, especially after Fico appointed a controversial figure to lead it. Protests against the government are ongoing, reflecting public discontent with its policies.
