Massive anti-government protests in Slovakia have persisted for three months against Prime Minister Robert Fico, who has shifted the country’s stance towards Russia and away from the EU. Critics label his government as increasingly authoritarian, with protests escalating after Fico's controversial meeting with Putin. Despite declining attendance, the civic group Mier Ukrajine continues to mobilize support for democracy. Fico's coalition faces internal strife, and the opposition struggles to present a unified front. The situation is critical for Slovakia's future direction.
