The Centre Pompidou is expanding to South Korea with a new branch opening in Yeouido, Seoul, on June 4, as part of its Constellation programme. This initiative celebrates the 140th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Korea and France and involves a four-year collaboration to host two exhibitions annually. The inaugural exhibition will focus on Cubism, featuring over a hundred works from renowned artists like Picasso and Braque, marking the first major cubism exhibition in Asia in fifty years. The aim is to promote both international and Korean art.
