South Korea's military fired warning shots at North Korean soldiers who crossed the border, marking the first such incident in nearly a year. About 10 soldiers crossed into the Demilitarised Zone (DMZ) but returned after warnings. The motive for the crossing is unclear, with reports suggesting it may have been unintentional. Tensions remain high between the two Koreas, exacerbated by North Korea's military developments and South Korea's political crisis following the impeachment of former President Yoon Suk-yeol.
