President Yoon Suk Yeol expressed concerns that North Korea's recent disclosure of a nuclear facility is an attempt to attract U.S. attention ahead of the presidential election. He warned of potential further provocations from North Korea, including nuclear tests. The situation has escalated with North Korea's threats and missile tests, as well as its ambitions to leverage its nuclear arsenal for concessions post-election. Yoon emphasized the importance of the South Korea-U.S. alliance in countering these threats.
