The net long positions have reached a peak not seen since 2017, raising concerns about market volatility and potential price drops. The low gas prices have prompted power companies to switch from coal to gas, while gas production has been curtailed due to low prices. The current gas prices have risen significantly since last March's lows, reflecting broader market dynamics and supply uncertainties.
