Russia's occupation authorities in Ukraine's Luhansk region have created an online database of Ukrainian children for coerced adoption, categorizing them by age, gender, and physical traits. Many children are described with positive character traits, but they are orphans or without parental care due to the conflict. Mykola Kuleba from Save Ukraine highlights that this practice has escalated since 2022, with systematic deportations of children to Russia. The database is seen as state-sponsored child trafficking, exposing children to significant dangers. Ukraine has verified the deportation of over 19,500 children, with calls for their return amid ongoing negotiations with Russia.
