A Roman soldier from Celtiberia returned home carrying a unique enamelled bronze cup, known as the 'Berlanga cup', which was discovered in Berlanga del Duero, Spain. This cup is significant as it includes inscriptions of military camps from the eastern sector of Hadrian's Wall, unlike other known pieces. The cup, which retains 80-90% of its original volume, has been digitally reconstructed and is the largest of its kind. Its origin has been traced to northern England or Wales, and it likely traveled with a soldier back to Celtiberia. The discovery has led to archaeological investigations revealing a Roman villa near Berlanga del Duero.
