A Swedish woman, Lina Ishaq, has been sentenced to 12 years in prison for genocide and war crimes against Yazidi people in Syria while being part of the Islamic State. She enslaved women and children, abused them, and forced them to practice Islam. Previously, she was serving a 6-year sentence for taking her son to Syria, where he died in battle.
