Hungarian Foreign Minister Péter Szijjártó confirmed that new language legislation in Slovakia will not threaten the use of the mother tongue for ethnic minorities. He discussed language rights with Slovak Speaker Peter Ziga, who assured that the current legislation will remain unchanged. Szijjártó expressed hope that no further action would be needed, as Ziga is known to keep his promises.
