The CES 2026 tech conference in Las Vegas showcased innovative toys like the Rubik’s WOWCube, LEGO Smart Brick, and AI-enhanced Tamagotchi-like robots. These toys aim to reshape children's play amid concerns over screen time and social media. The WOWCube features 24 screens for interactive games, while the LEGO Smart Brick enhances physical play. Takway AI's Sweekar is an emotionally-intelligent AI pet, and Sharp's Poketomo is a pocket-sized companion for young adults. The trend shows a shift towards AI-infused toys for both children and adults, raising concerns about early exposure to AI.
