The Cunio family celebrates the release of David and Ariel, two Israeli brothers kidnapped by Hamas on October 7, 2023. Their grandmother, Esther Cunio, expressed her joy and relief upon hearing the news. The release is part of a peace agreement between Israel and Hamas, marking the end of a painful chapter for many families. Esther, who escaped kidnapping by mentioning her admiration for Lionel Messi, has become a symbol of resilience. The family remained united during the two years of captivity, with their mother, Silvia, leading efforts for their release.
