Climate activists in Edinburgh, part of the Tyre Extinguishers group, defaced SUVs to protest against their contribution to climate change and in solidarity with victims of severe flooding in Valencia, which has resulted in over 200 deaths. The group aims to discourage SUV ownership by highlighting their environmental impact, claiming that if SUVs were a country, they would be the fifth largest polluter globally.
