Poland's mega-airport, Port Polska, is set to open in 2032, aiming to welcome 40 million passengers annually. Located between Warsaw and Łódź, it is designed to be a major transport hub in Europe. The project, approved in 2017, faced delays due to a corruption scandal but is now backed by Prime Minister Donald Tusk, who promises a fresh start. Construction will begin in 2026, with a budget of 131 billion Polish złoty. The airport will feature two runways, a passenger terminal, and a railway station, with plans for high-speed rail connections to major cities.
