Ungdomsøen, or 'The Youth Island', is a retreat off the coast of Denmark designed for university students to escape the pressures of studying. Managed by the Ungdomsøen Foundation, it offers a distraction-free environment for students to focus on their coursework while enjoying communal living and nature. The initiative promotes peer support and includes professional supervision from lecturers. Participants engage in academic work during the day and relax in the evenings, fostering a sense of community and collaboration.
