Researchers have created a small robot called CiliaVine that can manipulate blood flow to enhance drug delivery, dissolve blood clots, and capture cancer cells. The robot uses magnetic fields to move hair-like structures, improving the efficiency of drug transport and clot treatment in laboratory tests. Although not yet tested in humans, this technology holds promise for targeted medical applications in the bloodstream.
