Three Serbs are on trial in Kosovo for their involvement in a September 2022 armed incursion that resulted in the death of a Kosovar Albanian police officer. The incident escalated into a gun battle, leading to the deaths of three attackers. Kosovo's Prime Minister Albin Kurti accused Serbia of orchestrating the attack, while Belgrade denied involvement. Milan Radoičić, a businessman linked to the incident, faces charges in absentia. The trial is under tight security, and if convicted, the defendants could face life imprisonment.
