Toyota will manufacture its first European-made battery-electric vehicle in the Czech Republic, expanding its production line and building a new battery assembly facility in Kolin. This €680 million investment aims to enhance Toyota's presence in Europe and contribute to carbon-neutral operations by 2040. The project is expected to create 245 jobs and has an estimated benefit of €250 million for the Czech state.
