Police in Romania and Hungary have dismantled a human trafficking ring that exploited vulnerable individuals, particularly those from social care, by luring them with false promises of good jobs in Budapest. Victims were forced to work in poor conditions at a waste-recycling plant, living in overcrowded and unhygienic environments.
