Tourists visiting the Trevi Fountain in Rome must now pay a €2 fee to help manage crowds and raise funds for maintenance. Many tourists find the fee reasonable for easier access to the historic site. The initiative aims to improve the tourist experience and offset preservation costs, with Rome residents exempt from the fees. The city expects to generate significant revenue from this new structure, which follows similar models in other tourist sites.
