US President Donald Trump announced a $175 billion missile defense system called the 'Golden Dome', claiming it could be operational by the end of his term. The project, inspired by Israel's 'Iron Dome', aims to defend against aerial attacks using advanced technologies. Concerns about its cost and feasibility have been raised, with estimates suggesting it could exceed $542 billion. Trump has requested $25 billion for initial funding, and Canada has shown interest in the project. China and Russia criticized the proposal as destabilizing.
