Trump says China’s Xi assured him that he won’t take action on Taiwan 😔
Cikk tartalma röviden
US President Donald Trump stated that Chinese President Xi Jinping assured him that China would not pursue unification with Taiwan during his presidency. Trump expressed confidence in this assurance during an interview, while discussions with Xi in South Korea focused on trade rather than Taiwan. A Chinese embassy spokesman reiterated that Taiwan is a core interest of China and that the resolution of the Taiwan issue is for the Chinese people to decide. The US maintains a policy of 'strategic ambiguity' regarding military intervention in Taiwan.
