Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi announced the Strait of Hormuz is open for maritime traffic during the ceasefire, which was echoed by US President Donald Trump. This development suggests a positive turn in US-Iran relations, potentially leading to further talks mediated by Pakistan. However, Araghchi indicated Iran may still seek control over traffic despite US blockades, which have severely impacted oil and gas supplies globally.
