Two Hungarian authors' works among top three on Austrian public broadcaster's books of the year list 😊

Two Hungarian authors, András Visky and László Krasznahorkai, ranked in the top three of the best books of the year by Austrian public television. Visky's novel 'Kitelepítés' (Deportation) won first place, while Krasznahorkai's 'Zsömle odavan' (Zsömle is Waiting) secured third. Visky's novel, based on his traumatic childhood experiences, was praised by Nobel laureate Herta Müller. Krasznahorkai's recent work continues to explore the harsh realities of Hungary and has led to significant recognition, including a donation of his literary estate to the Austrian National Library.
