Roberta Metsola, President of the European Parliament, supports deeper integration among EU member states as a means to achieve unity. During a discussion at Alden Biesen castle in Belgium, she emphasized that this approach is not an obstacle but a pathway to unity. The informal summit highlighted the need for a two-speed union to address political deadlock on economic reforms. Metsola outlined urgent priorities for the EU, including the completion of various unions and the need for concrete actions by March.
