Britain and Germany are set to sign a significant defence agreement aimed at enhancing security, investment, and job creation. The German company Rheinmetall will establish a factory in the UK to produce artillery gun barrels, supporting 400 jobs. The agreement includes collaboration on long-range missiles and drones, as well as maritime surveillance operations from RAF Lossiemouth. This initiative is part of a broader effort to strengthen military ties post-Brexit, with both countries being major defence spenders in Europe. Teljes cikk (bbc.com europe)
