The UK government is reconsidering a youth visa deal with the EU ahead of a summit to improve post-Brexit relations. Labour MPs are advocating for a new visa scheme for citizens under 30 to enhance cultural and economic opportunities. The EU has expressed interest in a mutual agreement, linking it to broader negotiations on defense and security. Current visa options for non-EU countries exist, but EU citizens face challenges since Brexit. The proposal includes no NHS surcharge and equal tuition fees for EU students, though the UK may push for a visa cap.
