Ukraine expects €2.9bn fund for US weapons to fight Russia, Zelenskyy says

Ukraine is set to have around $3.5 billion in a fund to purchase weapons from the US to support its war against Russia, according to President Zelenskyy. The fund, known as the Prioritised Ukraine Requirements List (PURL), has received over $2 billion from NATO partners. Despite ongoing peace efforts, the war shows no signs of ending. Additionally, a new US-Ukraine fund for investments in the Ukrainian mineral sector is launching with $150 million in seed capital.
