Ukrainian skeleton racer Vladyslav Heraskevych plans to wear a helmet honoring athletes killed during Russia's invasion of Ukraine, despite the IOC's ban. He argues that these athletes deserve recognition on the track and believes he has the right to wear the helmet in competition. The IOC has not confirmed potential sanctions but emphasizes adherence to Olympic rules. Heraskevych highlights the emotional significance of his tribute, comparing it to other athletes' displays of grief.
