An online petition advocating for Gisèle Pelicot to receive the Nobel Peace Prize has gained nearly 90,000 signatures. Pelicot, a survivor of sexual abuse, became a feminist icon after bravely testifying against her ex-husband and 50 other men in a mass rape trial in France. The trial highlighted her courage and determination to bring her abusers to justice. Following the trial, Pelicot expressed hope for a future of harmony and respect between genders.
