An investigation revealed that 46 artworks from the municipality of Maashorst, including a silkscreen print of Queen Beatrix by Andy Warhol, likely ended up in bulky waste. Valued at around €22,000, these pieces were previously owned by Uden before the merger into Maashorst in 2022. Poor handling and lack of clear protocols during renovation led to their loss, with the municipality now acknowledging the low chance of recovery.
